PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving the circumstance environment of a visual display terminal and holding a pot for isolation of electromagnetic wave is provided to suppress the emission of electromagnetic wave by inserting a conductor such as a copper plate into the internal of the holding apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A pot holding unit(220) is provided on a side of a television and a monitor to hold a pot. A conductor such as a copper plate is inserted into the internal of the pot holding unit(220), in order to absorb electromagnetic wave generated from the television and the monitor. The electromagnetic wave absorbed by the conductor is emitted to the pot. Then, the plat and the soil contained in the pot absorb the electromagnetic wave emitted from the conductor.
