<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate a DS3 signal in SDH by using simple constitution. SOLUTION: An intermediate frame forming part 105 forms intermediate frame data IFD1 from the DS3 signal by an intermediate frame. An S/P part 106 divides the intermediate frame data IFD1 into seven parts and obtains divided data Ci. A VC-2 mapping part 107 accommodates the divided data Ci and a multiframe number for discriminating delay in a network in VC-2. A multiplex converting part 109 forms an STM signal from the VC-2 and sends the signal to an SDH network 300. A multiplex isolating part 201 of a receiver 200 leads out a VC-2 path from the STM signal received from the SDH network 300 and sends the VC-2 path to a VC-2 demapping part 203. On the basis of the multiframe number, the VC-2 demapping part 203 forms seven divided data Ck and sends the data to a P/S part 204, which regenerates the intermediate frame data IFD2. A DS3 regenerating part 205 regenerates the DS3 signal.</p> |
