PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a report system with fire spot searching function capable of specifying an alarming position from a monitoring room without inspection of all set positions of a plurality of fire sensors by a watchman or the like to specify a fire spot according to the alarming of any one of the fire sensors, which can solve the conventional disadvantage of poor disaster preventing effect resulted from the watchman's labor and time and spatial problems, to inexpensively constitute the system while keeping an existing simplest ladder-like electric wiring structure, and to facilitate the estimation of a short-circuit failure position. SOLUTION: This system comprises means for serially inserting and connecting a coil of prescribed capacity to the electric circuit of a report system and applying a prescribed AC voltage to the closed electric circuit at the time of sensing an abnormality to measuring AC current or AC resistance; means for calculating the number of the coils of prescribed capacity serially inserted and connected to the electric circuit from the AC current or AC resistance value, and means for estimating the closed position of the electric circuit of the report system from this number.
