PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system inexpensive in construction cost for installing a security device, easy to change an alarm area and inexpensive in cost for installing and operating for a control center. SOLUTION: The system comprises a security device 1; a control center 2 connected to the device 1 via a telephone line network 100 of a wireless packet communication system; and cellular phones 3a-3e carried by a first to a fifth informers. The device 1 is composed of a base station 11, a substation 12, a glass alarm 13 and a remote controller 14, all of which are easily carried by a person. The base station 11 and the substation 12 are driven by the supply of electricity from an outlet or by a built-in battery, and provided with infrared sensors 11a, 12a and passive sensors 11b, 12b for detecting an abnormality of security. The glass alarm 13 is provided with an ultrasonic sensor 13a. Anomaly information detected by these sensors is delivered by e-mail to the cellular phones 3a-3e carried by the first to the fifth informers via a server 2a of the control center 2.
