PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method, toner, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor, whereby a highly accurate image can be obtained without causing a transfer failure on an image forming material even in use of a toner having smaller spherical diameter. SOLUTION: In the image forming method in which an electrostatic latent image which is formed on the electrophotographic photoreceptor by an electrifying and exposure means is developed with a two-component developer which contains toner and carrier and the developed visible image is transferred to a transfer material via or without an intermediate transfer member, a frictional coefficient (B) of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is less than or equal to 0.40 and an average spherical degree (A) of the toner is greater than or equal to 0.930.
