PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial plant sufficiently functioning as a plant for appreciation even at night. SOLUTION: An illuminant of electric field is made to imitate a stalk, a trunk or a branch of a plant and the stalk, the trunk or the branch is stuck with foliate bodies or a flower-like body. An illuminant of electric field is coated with a thermoplastic resin layer, a thermosetting resin layer or an ultraviolet curing resin layer, the resin layer is cured, a fixed shape is retained, the illuminant of electric field is made to imitate a stalk or a branch and the stalk, the trunk or the branch is stuck with foliate bodies or a flower-like body. An illuminant is attached to foliate bodies and/or a flower-like body.
