PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can avoid an abnormal operation such as a stop of the printer, a runaway of the printer, or the like by appropriately controlling a timing for the printer to receive job data. SOLUTION: When a value of a register set to conform to a second interruption agrees with a predetermined value, an interruption means of the printer 1 permits the second interruption to a CPU 10. When receiving a first interruption by the interruption means 11, the CPU outputs a second signal for controlling receiving printing job data, and then sets a predetermined value to the register set to conform to the second interruption. When receiving the second interruption by the interruption means, the CPU sets a value different from the predetermined value to the register set to conform to the second interruption, and then executes a printing process based on the printing job data. |
