PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design supporting system capable of reducing the misfeature of fender selection design. SOLUTION: This design supporting system is constituted so that a user can design construction materials (fender or the like), and acquire the result by connecting to a web server. This system is provided with a database (F4) for operating calculation and output based on data inputted by the user, and for storing the processes. The calculated results can be downloaded and acquired by the user (S117, S217), and recorded in the database (F4). Also, a maker side person different from the user can check any misfeature by referring to the database (F4).
