PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reform the edge of a glass plate or a glass ceramic plate for a cooker. SOLUTION: This is a glass plate or a glass ceramic plate for a cooker, especially, a cooking face or a baking face, and the plate has a protector. In such a plate, the protector is made of a transection contour region (5) which is thicker than the thickness (D) of the plate (1), and this transection contour region shifts integrally without a joint to the plate (1), and this is made by performing upsetting processing or other plastic processing for the plate (1) after roller application.
