PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a easily washable and comfortably wearable brassiere without marking the skin with a trace of compression and easily wiping off moisture so as to be directly reusable, and a method for production of the same by which excellent qualities are obtained at a low cost. SOLUTION: This brassiere is obtained by treating a plastic or a rubber according to injection molding or vacuum forming and thereby integrally forming brassiere cups 1, edge parts 2 and shoulder straps 4, mounting a fastener 7 on the edge at the side of the brassiere cups 1 and mounting engaging tools 6 on the ends of the shoulder straps 4. The method for producing the brassiere comprises a step of forming both left and right sides, a step of molding or forming back parts 3 by cutting the plastic or the rubber with a molding or a forming tool, then mounting shoulder engaging tools and molding or forming the back part 3 and a step of joining both ends thereof to edge parts surrounding the left and right brassiere cups.
