INFORMATION PROVISION METHOD IN ENGINEERING PORTAL SITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that (1) it is impossible to instantaneously understand a solution to a problem, and that (2) possibility that a new solution to the problem is created is extremely low since a new solution found is frequently to be a conventionally known solution to the problem in a system for allowing a user to answer the problem. SOLUTION: When a problem is inputted on the user side, the data are transmitted to the server side, and an example data base or a meta data base related with a solution to the problem is retrieved. The meta data base is provided with a data base in which the past problems arte grasped as the opposing concept of several physical or chemical rules, and solutions to the problems are gathered into several rules, and the actual solution examples to those rules are gathered for the respective rules. The meta data base is based on a natural rule extracted from the problem so that it become possible to propose a solution whose use frequency is low in a certain field or a solution which is never used in the field.
