PURPOSE: A serial connection type diode rectifier is provided to reject harmonic components of input current by suitably controlling the respective current of two diode rectifiers serially connected to each other using a current control converter to embody input current of sine wave shape. CONSTITUTION: A three-winding transformer(1) receives an AC power to output two power which are a dropped the voltage. First/second diode rectifiers(2,3) respectively receive the power output from the three-winding transformer(1). Series capacitors(C1,C2) smooth the power from the rectifiers. An inverter(4) receives the smooth DC voltage to control the speed and direction of a motor(5). A cathode(-) of the first diode rectifier(2) and an anode(+) of the second diode rectifier(3) are connected through an inductor(L). A transformer(T1) is connected in parallel to the inductor(L). In a transformer(T2), one terminal of a secondary winding is connected to a neutral point of the transformer(T1) and the other terminal is connected to a common point(C) of two capacitors(C1,C2). A current control converter(10) is connected to a primary winding of the transformer(T2). |
