PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where in the automatic test of a digital relay having many relay elements, the relay element in a part cannot be tested because the respective relay elements are tested in batch and that also test software must be prepared for individual relays. SOLUTION: Execution data 11 by relay elements and dedicated software 13, which performs a test by relay elements, are prepared. The means of the relay elements to be tested from among the many relay elements are retained in an execution data table 12. Automatic test software 14 perform continuous test, in the order of the relay elements retained in the table 12, in accordance with to the test procedure of the execution data by relay elements and the dedictated software. When a flag which temporarily stops the test during the test is installed in the table 12, continuous test can be stopped temporarily.
