PURPOSE: A process is provided which prepares water dispersive polyester resin that is useful as a warp sizing due to its superior flexibility and adhesive property with synthetic fiber yarn using recycled polyester resin as a main raw material. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing water dispersive polyester resin comprises the processes of partially depolymerizing, transesterification and polycondensing the materials so that they have an inherent viscosity of 0.49 to 0.52 at a temperature of 200 to 285 deg.C after injecting into a reactor polyester resin of the following general formula(I), carboxylic acid with two aromatic functional groups of the following general formula(II), alcohol compound with two functional groups of the following general formula(III) and carboxylic acid with two aromatic functional groups having -SO3M(M is hydrogen atom or alkali metal atom) functional group of the following general formula(IV):£General Formula(I)|£General Formula(II)|£General Formula(III)|£General Formula(IV)|where R is a benzene ring, n is an integer of 1 to 200, R1 is hydrogen atom or alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 3, R2 is CH2CH2-O-CH2CH2 or alkylene group having a carbon number of 2 to 8, and M is hydrogen atom or alkali metal atom. |
