PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect even errors relating with transmission/reception of status signals during mutually transferring the status signals between two systems and omit inverted operation tests for checking the soundness of the system to improve the reliability. SOLUTION: For transmitting one status signal (ON, OFF signal) in own system, it is converted to a two-bit signal (1, 0) or (0, 1) and transmitted to other system over two signal lines. Upon receipt of the signal (1, 0) or (0, 1) the other system recognizes it as an ON or OFF signal, but recognizes a signal (0, 0) or (1, 1), if received, as an error relating with transmission/reception of status signals and reports the effect or processes to execute a system changeover.
