An osteoporosis remedy which satisfactorily functions to increase the bone amount and hardly increases the blood calcium level. The osteoporosis remedy contains as the active ingredient a compound represented by the general formula (1): formula (1) wherein R1 and R2 each represents hydrogen or methyl; R3 represents C1-4 alkyl optionally substituted by one or more fluorine atoms; m is an integer of 0 to 3; and A represents -CH2-CH2-, -CH = CH-, or -C C-.
