PURPOSE: An ultrasonic welding method of a pressure control valve and the valve thereof are provided to obtain strong and complete sealing effect, to prevent the excessive consumption of engine oil by regulating the amount of oil, and to lengthen the life span of an engine by preventing oil leakage. CONSTITUTION: A protruded rim(4) is formed on an end portion(3) of a sidewall(2) of a body(1). Protruded rims are formed on an end portion of a fitting portion of a cover and a swash portion around the fitting portion. An annular groove(13) inserted with an outer face flange of a diaphragm is formed on the outer face of an annular sill(10) where the extended portion of the sidewall contacts to the fitting portion of the cover. Upon applying ultrasonic vibration, the protruded rims are fused and hardened. While the cover is welded with the body, the protruded rim of the fitting portion pressurizes the upper face of the flange of the diaphragm. Therefore, sure sealing effect is obtained.
