PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which provides a color image having no color slippage at a low cost and an optical scanner suitable for the image forming device. SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes a finite focus lens 9 and a cylindrical lens 11 which give predetermined characteristics to light beams emitted from plural light sources, a mirror unit 13 for synthesizing laser beam which lumps each of light beams passing through the lenses together, a deflection device 5 which deflects the lumped light beam, a first and a second focusing lenses 30a and 30b which compensate the aberration characteristics of the deflected light beams at an image formation position, and one or three mirrors which emit the light, passing through each image formation lens, at predetermined position, thus a color image having no color slippage is provided by a combination of only two lenses.
