PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive medium cartridge for an image forming machine which does not receive the adverse influence from a circumferential state, such as humidity. SOLUTION: The photosensitive medium cartridge 85 has a humidity sensor 87 disposed within the cartridge 85 in order to sense the circumferential state within the cartridge. When the cartridge 85 is arranged in the medium transfer position of the image forming device to allow the photosensitive medium 47, to be transported from the cartridge 85 to the image forming device, the image development or printing on the photosensitive medium 7' in the image forming device 85 is controlled in accordance with the sensed circumferential state in the cartridge 85.
