<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer for a MICR printer and a method for manufacturing the developer excellent in durability with which excellent image density and reading accuracy can be obtained even when about 150,000 sheets of A4 size paper are continuously printed. SOLUTION: In the developer for a MICR printer containing a carrier and MICR toner consisting of magnetic powder and a binder resin, the developer contains metal oxide particles on the outer surface of the MICR toner, and the volume resistance of the metal oxide particle is controlled to 1×105-1×1011Ω.cm.</p> |
