More specifically, a multi-domain liquid crystal display device having first and second substrates includes a pixel electrode over the first substrate, a side electrode surrounding the pixel electrode, a common electrode over the second substrate, a first dielectric structure on the common electrode, and at least one second dielectric structure over the second substrate.
