The clutch disk comprises a hub (12) with frictional components (14) arranged around its periphery. A shock absorbing component (40) is mounted between these and can move peripherally against the effect of a resilient mounting (44), e.g. of vulcanised rubber. An Independent claim is included for a clutch fitted with the disk.
