PURPOSE: A continuously variable transmission is provided to connect a rotary pump with a plunger pump operated by a shift lever and to maintain non-loading state by moving without shifting impact through the control of the shift lever. CONSTITUTION: A continuously variable transmission comprises a wheel(110) rotating by being mounted on an input shaft(111) and a receiving groove(112); a main gear(121) contained in the wheel; a planetary gear(122) installed on the wheel by being geared with the main gear; a gear plate(120) having plural gear holes(124); a partition(125) isolating the planetary gear by being mounted on the gear hole; a valve housing(130) having a plunger plate(150); plural cylinders(151) contacted to a valve hole(140); a piston(160) inserted to the cylinder of the plunger plate; a slide plate(171) connected to the piston by a hinge(172); a rotating plate(180) forming slide grooves to move the slide plate; a rotational ball(191) mounted on the rotating plate; a fixed plate(190) installed on a shaft lever(102); and a first oil groove(126) mounted on the partition of the gear plate.
