PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deformation of an inner raceway when an inner ring is pressed into a shaft, even in the case of a bearing device with a small bearing width. SOLUTION: The bearing device has a number of balls 4 interposed between an outer ring 2 and an inner ring 3 along the circumferential direction and the inside diameter surface of the inner ring 3 is either honed or superfinished.
