PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a slanting coil spring capable of easily manufacturing a slanting coil spring by a cold processing without requiring heating when forming it. SOLUTION: The diameter of a roll of coil is set so as to increase or decrease along the axis of the compression coil over the whole length from one end of the coil to the other end thereof constituting the compression coil spring to form the slanting coil spring 10 having an coil axis CA inclined with relation to the both end faces of the compression coil spring. In the diameter of the roll of coil, the diameter of the coil of substantial half circumferential part divided by a plane including the coil axis is increased or decreased and the diameter of the coil of the substantial half circumferential part continuous to the above part is decreased or increased. |
