PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler box without being troubled with feeding during night fishing. SOLUTION: This cooler box 1 comprises a box body 2 and a cover 3 and is obtained by providing a recessed part 9 on the inner surface 3a of the cover 3 and freely detachably mounting an illuminator 21 through a magnet 25 on the recessed part 9. The illuminator 21 comprises a body 21a thereof, a flexible tube 22 extending from the body 21a and a luminous part 23 mounted on the tip thereof. The flexible tube 22 is bent so as to illuminate a bait box 18 in the box body 2 by opening the cover 3, and the bait box 18 is illuminated. Thereby, feeding is not troubled even during the night fishing because a site near a hand is stably illuminated during the feeding.
