PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type synchronous motor which can mount a magnetic pole position detecting element to the accurate position, reduce influence of thermal deformation and deterioration with aging changes and control increase of the number of parts by using in common the substrate and holder even in the motors of a plurality of kinds of rotating diameters. SOLUTION: In a permanent magnet type synchronous motor 1 comprising a motor body 2 which includes a rotor 21 and a stator 24 and a magnetic pole position detecting device 3 which includes a substrate 4 to mount the magnetic pole position detecting element 5 and a holder 6 to hold the magnetic pole position detecting element 5 and to be fixed to the substrate 4, both substrate 4 and holder 6 have mounting holes 41, 61 of a plurality of kinds in the motor rotating diameter direction and are mounted to a coil bobbin 25 of the stator with a part of the mounting holes. |
