PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety, reliability, convenience, and cost of a credit card spread as cashless settlement. SOLUTION: As to the settlement of a commodity sold/bought in over-the- counter sales which is the main procedure of a current commodity selling/buying format enabling a customer to see an article and determine its purchase which is impossible in a net transaction and is supposed to be a main procedure in the future, a seller and buyer simultaneously collate the settlement system of a net mediating agency from their portable telephones or PHSs to receive settlement information by utilizing the ID characteristics or net connection functions of the portable telephones or PHSs and the validity/invalidity of the transaction is judged from the result of collation using a member store code and a transaction code sent from both the seller and buyer as keys to guarantee the safety/reliability of electronic settlement. |
