PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aiming controller for a gun and a method of aiming control, with which aiming control can be readily conducted in a short time without giving a trial shooting, in aiming control of an optical sight attached to the gun. SOLUTION: An aiming controller 10 including a laser emitting device 12 is disposed at a muzzle 26 of a gun 36. With such a structure, there is provided an aiming control method of the gun, in which a laser beam 13 emitted from the device 12 goes straight on the extended line of a central axis 30 of a bore, and allows an aiming mark of an optical sight 32 to match an irradiation point 35 of the laser beam 13. Setting of the controller 10 is completed by inserting an insert rod 14 to the bore 24 from the muzzle 26.
