PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal noise caused by rattling of a friction pad or a pad spring during brake operation from occurring, and to keep excellent slidability of the friction pad. SOLUTION: A pad pressing part 11 is integrally formed in a guide plate part 12 of the pad spring 10, and this pad pressing part 11 is allowed to diagonally and elastically abut on a back plate 8 of the friction pad 6 from inside a disc 1 in a diametrical direction. This presses the friction pad 6 on a support pin side and in a diameter direction of the disc 1, and on a torque receiving part 4 side and in a rotating direction of the disc 1. A reaction receiving part 14 folded toward the support pin side is integrally formed in the pad spring 10, and this reaction receiving part 14 is allowed to elastically abut on the support pin 9. The pad spring 10 is pressed on the torque receiving part 4 by reaction force N which is received by the reaction receiving part 14 from the support pin 9.
