The rotary transformer inductive coupling uses a stationary ferromagnetic primary (1) separated by a radial air-gap from a ferromagnetic secondary (2), attached to the rotor of the asynchronous machine, with the primary and/or the secondary provided by individual laminations or by a solid hollow component with a cylindrical contour. The primary and the secondary each have at least 3 axially separated tangential windings, the secondary windings electrically coupled to the 3-phase winding of the asynchronous machine.
