PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat conduction efficiency of a cask. SOLUTION: A plate member 201 is attached around a shell body 101 and on the part of the plate member 201 coming outside the cask, mountains are provided. Inside a space 206 formed with the plate member 201, an aluminum honeycomb member 210 combined with resin 106 is installed. The decay heat conducted to the shell body 101 is conducted to the plate member 201 constituting the cask outer surface via the plate member 201 and the honeycomb member 210 and radiated. At this time, by providing mountains 207 to the plate member 201 and spreading the radiation area, radiation efficiency is raised.
