PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable power support suitable for a motor output and to enable high power storage by efficient charging. SOLUTION: A motor drive device, in which an AC power is converted into a DC power by a converter 3 and a revolution of a motor 2 is controlled by an inverter by using the DC power, has a chargeable/dischargeable battery 5, a charging/discharging circuit 6 by which the battery 5 is charged/discharged via a connection point 9 between the converter 3 and the inverter 4, and a charge/discharge control unit 7 which controls the charging/discharging value of the charging/discharging circuit 6. The charge/discharge control unit 7 controls the charging/discharging value of the charging/discharging circuit 6 in accordance with the revolution of the motor 2. |
