Fuel distributor for a diesel engine

The fuel distributor (1) is part of the fuel injection system. It has a pressure store to receive statically compressed fuel under very high pressure. Compression lines (5) come out in the pressure store. They are connected to connecting nipples (3) joined to the distributor. The distributor comprises a rolled or drawn tube which is welded or soldered to the connecting nipple. There is an insertion boring in the distributor for the connecting nipple, which is fitted into the boring before being welded or soldered in position.
