PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry ink ejected onto a recording medium efficiently. SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder comprising an ink jet recording head section performing printing by ejecting ink onto a recording medium based on print information, and a high frequency heating means for drying the ejected ink is provided with means for controlling output from the high frequency heating means based on the print information.
