PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high sensitivity detection method for an object compound, capable of suppressing a bad influence on measurement of the object compound caused by a memory effect by impurities or the like entering a detector or generation of a background noise, and improving repeatability or sensitivity at the measuring time, and a highly sensitive detection device of the object compound preferably usable therefor. SOLUTION: In this high sensitivity detection method for the object compound and the high sensitivity detection device for the object compound usable for the method, when a sample including the object compound and the impurities is introduced into liquid chromatography sending eluate, (A) if the object compound is included in solution flowing out of a column of liquid chromatograph, the solution is introduced into the detector, or (B) if the object compound is not included in solution flowing out from the column of the liquid chromatograph, the solution is not introduced into the detector but discharged, and during the period, eluate having the same composition as the eluate sent into the liquid chromatograph is introduced continuously into the detector.
