PURPOSE: A Hangul name display method with a low-price type is provided to attach only liquid crystal display(LCD) to a microprocessor for driving the liquid crystal display device and display Hangul name five characters for saving cost. CONSTITUTION: An LCD(6) is driven by signals output form an LCD driver/controller according to Hangul, digits, fonts, and instructions programmed in an internal memory of a microprocessor(5). The microprocessor(5) having the LCD driver/controller is connected to the LCD(6). The LCD(6) is driven using only one microprocessor(5), Hangul and digits are encoded using only one microprocessor(5), and a necessary input and output function and program is built in only microprocessor(5).
