METHOD FOR PRODUCING AGLIKON ISOFLAVONES

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing aglikon isoflavones from isoflavone glycosides in plant extracts, thereby obtaining a high concentration of aglikon isoflavones simply and cost-effectively. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing aglikon isoflavones from isoflavone glycosides comprises the steps of: (a) passing isoflavone glycosides through absorption resin columns to be absorbed into a resin; (b) continuously circulating beta-glucosidase solution through the columns to convert isoflavone glycosides into aglikon isoflavone then recovering the enzyme solution; (c) recovering aglikon isoflavone from the columns. In the step (a), the absorption resin is acrylic resin or polyaromatic resin, and in the step (b) the enzyme solution is circulated at 25-80 deg.C with a flow rate of 200ml/minute for 1-72 hours.
