SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material having enhanced pressure resistance and an image forming method which ensures superior suitability to dry rapid processing and favorable whiteness of a print. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has an A value of 10-15 given by the expression (-2×(the amount of protective colloid)+5×(the amount of a hydrophobic compound)). The amount of the protective colloid is the mass of the protective colloid per 1 m2 applied on the base and the amount of the hydrophobic compound is the mass of the hydrophobic compound per 1 m2 applied on the base.
