PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily work a reverse taper hole by using an existing universal machine tool facility of a machining center, etc. SOLUTION: A cutter 1 is inserted into a lower hole H in a state of decentering a shaft center O1 of a tool 1 against the lower hole H on the side of a work W (drawing 3 (B)), and the shaft centers O1. O2 of both of them are made conform with each other by moving the cutter 1 in the diametrical direction after insertion (drawing (C)). A specified reverse taper hole T1 is machined by giving cutting feeding in a direction to extract from the lower hole H to the cutter 1 (drawing (D)). The cutter 1 is separated from an inner peripheral surface of the reverse taper hole T1 by slightly pushing the cutter 1 back after machining, and thereafter, the cutter 1 is extracted from the reverse taper hole T1 in procedures opposite to the above.
