PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure information circuit for automatically obtaining information of the failure generated in an electronic circuit. SOLUTION: This failure information preserving circuit for storing failure information indicating the failure generated in an electronic circuit is provided with a preserving part, an updating part for temporarily storing operation data indicating the operating state of the electronic circuit, and for updating the stored operation data into changed operation data each time the operation data are changed, and a control circuit for storing the operation data stored in the updating part in the preserving part in response to a failure notification signal notified from the electronic circuit when any failure is occurred in the electronic circuit.
