PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter system which increases the reliability and the safety of the control of a gas appliance and which reduces a registration omission to a user information system. SOLUTION: Gas appliances 9-1 to 9-n of a user 7 are registered in a center 11. An appliance use pattern which is sent to an internal storage device 5 in the gas meter 3 of the user 7 is compared with the change in the total actual gas flow rate of the gas meter 3. When there is contraction, the gas meter 3 is cut off so as to be reported to a user himself 6, and the correction of the registration contradiction of the gas appliances is urged.
