PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen display method and a screen display device with which the type of a selected processing operation can be easily recognized when a plurality of types of processing operations can be performed and to provide a picture processor using them. SOLUTION: In a copying machine realizing the plurality of types of copying operations such as full color processing and black/white processing, a processing type display window 172 is provided in an instruction menu display area 170 on a processing performing screen 17 displayed during the performance of the copying operation. The animation of a full color picture is displayed on the processing type display window 172 as a processing type identification picture showing the full color processing being the type of copying which is selected and performed in the copying operation. Thus, an operator can easily recognize the type of the selected copying operation during the performance of the copying operation. |
