The heat exchanger (1) has a number of pipes (2) the ends of which fit into passages (4) pointing towards the heat exchanger circuit (3) on the openings (5) in the pipes' bottoms (6). The pipe-ends reach as far as below the level of the pipes' bottom surface (7) and form a connecting section (8) parallel with the passages. The passages possessing a diminishing wall-thickness from start to end. The start of the passages have ridge (10).
