SINK INSTALLING STRUCTURE AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitarily desirable kitchen counter for preventing generation of a void between an end part of the counter and a flange part of a sink. SOLUTION: In this sink installing structure for positioning the sink forming a flange overhanging in the outer peripheral direction from an upper end part in a sink hole formed in the counter and fixing the opening end of the sink hole so as not to project from an inner wall surface of the sink, a recess groove 5 of a tip part of the flange 2A is formed on the reverse of an opening part of the sink hole to form the narrow edge 6 in a reverse end part of the opening part of the sink hole to be fixed by allowing the narrow edge to abut to the flange of the sink. An installing position of the sink 2 is decided on the basis of the recess groove 6 formed on the reverse of the opening part of the sink hole formed in a prescribed position of the counter.
