<p>The invention relates to a wind energy plant, with a rotor, coupled to a generator within a machine housing. Said wind energy plants have been known for a considerable time, for example, the wind energy plants of the types E-40, E-66 from the firm Enercon, Aurich. The aim of the invention is to improve the possibility of visiting a wind energy plant, so that more people than previously may visit such a plant. Said aim is achieved, whereby a wind energy plant, comprising a rotor, coupled to a generator within a machine housing, is characterised in that a viewing platform is arranged on the tower of the wind energy plant, beneath the machine housing and is fixed to the tower of the wind energy plant, by means of a support construction. Said support construction comprises an upper support arrangement and a lower support arrangement, whereby each support arrangement is made from several essentially similar support arms, distributed around the circumference of the tower. Said platform essentially encircles the tower, the upper supports carry a roof for the viewing platform and the lower supports carry a floor for the viewing platform and both upper and lower supports carry fixings for windows, distributed around the circumference of the viewing platform to give the platform users on the platform a panoramic view of the countryside.</p> |
