PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure smooth drainage of water introduced into communication holes. SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack comprises unit fuel cells 12 formed with solid high polymer electrolytic films held between an anode side electrode and a cathode side electrode and first and second separators 14, 16 holding the unit fuel cells 12 therebetween, the unit fuel cells 12 and the first and second separators 14, 16 being stacked in a horizontal direction. Each of the outer periphery edges at the sides of the first and second separators 14, 16 is provided with an inlet side fuel gas communication hole 36a for supplying a fuel gas, an outlet side fuel gas communication hole 36b for exhausting the fuel gas and an outlet side oxidant gas communication hole 38b for exhausting an oxidant gas, all of which pass therethrough. A discharge hole 110 is provided at the corner side seen from an exhaust port of the outlet side oxidant gas communication hole 38b for supplying the oxidant gas. |
