PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathing assistor for eliminating the risk of leaking a respiratory gas at the position of a supporting member, allowing a non or insufficient spontaneous respiration patient to use the same and supplying the respiratory gas from an external supply source into the lung of the patient. SOLUTION: The breathing assistor which has a chamber with a respiratory gas inlet 4 and a respiratory gas outlet 8 and the supporting member 11 to be pushed closely onto a part 9 of the patient comprises an expansion flexible encircling part 12 for encircling the supporting member 11, the flexible encircling part 12 having greater flexibility than the supporting member 11. |
