摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in controlling transmission torque capacity corresponding to input shaft torque in an automatic transmission shifting by changing engagement of a friction engaging element. SOLUTION: When racing occurs following the release control of the friction engaging element, this control device detects a point of time when the differential value (S663) of deviation between turbine rotating speed Nt and reference turbine rotating speed obtained from output shaft rotating speed No and a gear ratio before a shift is inverted from plus to minus (S664-S666). Oil pressure of the released side friction engaging element when the inversion is detected, is judged as the value corresponding to critical transmission torque capacity, and the computed deviation from the critical transmission torque capacity is considered due to the estimation error of input shaft torque to learn the correction factor of input shaft torque (S668-S679).
