<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor provide with a free magnetic layer whose magnetic distortion is zero or smaller than zero and a magnetic storage device especially for high recording density, which uses the sensor. SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor which includes a laminated body constituted of a first magnetic layer 13, a non-magnetic layer 14, a second magnetic layer 15 and an antiferromagnetic layer 16 and of a conversion element 18 detecting the change of an outer magnetic field as the change of resistance and outputting it, in which at least a part of the first magnetic layer 13 is formed of a Ni-Fe material and Ni content xNi (wt.%) and film thickness t (nm) satisfy the relation of a following expression is installed. xNi>=-((BSurf1+ BBulk1.t)/(BSurf2+BBulk2.t)) In the expression, BBulk1=-53.78 J/cm3, BBulk2=0.6638 J/cm3, BSurf1=1.7548×10-6 J/cm2 and BSurf2=-2.432×10-8 J/cm2.</p> |
